PropReel vs AutoReel

AI listing videos with drone-style exterior flythroughs and listing-portal photo import.

In short

AutoReel and PropReel are close on paper: both are AI listing-video makers with voiceover and a free tier. AutoReel's standouts are drone-style flythroughs and pulling photos straight from Zillow/Realtor.com. PropReel counters with voiceover in 15 languages, six export formats on paid plans (three per render, one shape), beat-synced music, and its own cinematic motion. PropReel cannot import from Zillow or Realtor.com, which block automated access, so there you upload the photos.

What PropReel produces

Every frame below came out of PropReel on the settings this page describes — no mock-ups, no stock footage. Compare it against what AutoReel produces before you decide.

Exterior motion & drone

AutoReel's signature is its drone-style exterior flythrough, and it's a genuine strength. PropReel also produces drone-style fly-ins for exteriors plus smooth dolly moves for interiors; both look cinematic, so this category is close — pick on the rest of the feature set.

Voiceover & languages

Both offer AI voiceover. PropReel's is explicitly 15 languages, which matters for reaching non-English buyers; AutoReel offers voiceover but doesn't clearly publish its language count.

Formats & photo import

AutoReel can pull photos directly from Zillow and Realtor.com — convenient if your listing already lives there. PropReel can import from a listing URL only where the site allows it — not Zillow, Realtor.com, Redfin or Domain, where you upload the photos — but it exports three platform formats from one render (one shape; six in all), where AutoReel produces a single format.

Pricing

Both have a free tier and similar low entry prices (~$19/mo). The decision comes down to features: AutoReel for portal import and avatars, PropReel for multilingual voiceover and multi-format export.

What we can prove about our side

Comparison pages are usually written entirely in adjectives. These are the numbers behind PropReel's column — checkable on the pricing page, and render times are published in full with the method on the research page.

15
languages, narrated not translated
Script written in the language, then spoken by a voice in it.
7
exports from a single render
On paid plans: Reel, TikTok, YouTube, square ad, story, email loop and an MLS-clean cut.
3
AI camera shots per render
Depth-aware camera moves, with AI

Three things follow from that which are worth weighing against AutoReel. Most of each render uses depth-aware camera moves on our own machines, with only a few generated camera shots, which is a large part of why a free first video is possible rather than a card-required trial. On a paid plan one render produces every format of the shape you pick, including a branding-free MLS cut on a horizontal tour, so there is no re-export step per platform. And narration is written and spoken in fifteen languages — not subtitles over an English track, but a script generated for that language.

The limits belong here too. Videos render at 1920×1080; a 4K export is coming next year, and until then we do not sell one. PropReel animates the photos you already have — it shoots nothing, so a room without a photo is a room without a shot. It cannot import from portals that block automation: Zillow, Realtor.com, Redfin and Domain included. The full list of what it deliberately does not do is on the about page.

How this comparison was made

AutoReel's figures come from their own published pricing and product pages, researched in June 2026 and re-checked quarterly. Where they are better than us we say so — that is what the “Choose AutoReel if” panel above is for, and it is filled in for every one of the seven tools we compare against. We do not reproduce their screenshots, their branding, or claims we cannot source.

PropReel's prices are not typed into this page. They are read at build time from the same constant the checkout charges from, because on 30 August 2026 a repricing shipped and fourteen hand-written pages went on quoting the old ladder for a day — including one that advertised Agency $30 below what the card was actually billed. That class of error is now impossible here.

Pricing moves and features ship. If something on this page is out of date or unfair to AutoReel, tell us and we will correct it — including in our own favour being removed.

What's a good AutoReel alternative?

PropReel is a close alternative: it also offers AI voiceover, a free tier, and drone-style exterior motion, and adds 15-language narration plus three export formats per render (six in all). AutoReel keeps an edge on direct Zillow/Realtor.com photo import and AI avatars.

Does PropReel have a drone effect like AutoReel?

Yes. PropReel produces drone-style cinematic fly-ins for exterior shots and smooth dolly moves for interiors. AutoReel markets a drone flythrough as its signature; both deliver a cinematic aerial feel.

Can PropReel import photos from a listing like AutoReel?

Not from the big portals. Zillow, Realtor.com, Redfin and Domain block automated access, so for those listings you download the photos and upload them. Pasting a URL can work for other sites, such as your own agency's listing page. AutoReel integrates directly with Zillow and Realtor.com, which is a real advantage.
